Erin,

Thanks for letting me know that people are still asking about me. I’m really touched by that. And, thank you, Erin, for directing them to my blogs … that’s more than ok; I’m thrilled that you are doing that. I ceased being the crochet guide at about.com last September so that’s just about nine months ago. It felt like a huge change to me after having been the crochet guide there for 11 1/2 years, creating something new for the site virtually every week. I haven’t stopped creating new crochet patterns but had to slow down on the amount of time that I spent on that, in order to put enough time into earning income (have to pay those bills; we all know how that goes).

I still love creating patterns and tutorials and like helping people learn about crocheting and other crafts so I’ll keep right on giving people new things to enjoy with that as much as I can.

It’s good that about.com has a new guide for their crochet site now so that there will be new things again on that site for the about.com readers to enjoy there. I wish for the new about.com crochet guide all the best and hope that she will find great enjoyment in her work there.
